Log Cabin Dog House – For the Outdoorsy Dog

The Outback log cabin dog house is perfect for any outdoor dog.  The standard Outback and the Extreme Outback log cabin dog houses combine comfort with functionality. 

Both dog houses are weather proofed to help your dog remain comfortable during extreme cold and heat. The floor is raised several inches to allow the air to circulate on hot days. This provides a cooling effect in the summer. The raised floor all reduces moisture penetration on damp days. The wood frame is made of solid fir and coated with a cedar colored weather-resistant stain.  The slightly pitched roof allows rain to roll off while providing an elevated place for your dog to rest. 

The roof is available in two different types of material. The standard Outback dog house has a solid fir wood shingled roof designed for areas of the country which only experiences moderate weather.  The Extreme Outback model has an asphalt shingled roof designed for areas of extreme temperatures.  Also, this model has plastic caps to protect the legs of the dog house from ground moisture.

The entry opening is off-center on both models to provide additional protection from the outside elements.  This allows the animal more room to easily move around.  It is important to note that a door is not included in either model.

Assembling the dog house has never been easier.  Both models easily assemble in three simple steps within twenty minutes.  The sides, top and bottom arrive preassembled.  Just connect the panels together using the enclosed bolts and screws.  It’s as easy as that!
